25 RiceUp farmers just finished thier three month Farmer Field School course enabling them to improve rice production and decrease costs. RiceUp is empowering our farmers to use innovation in farming to increase their income. This is in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office of Lubao.
Lubao National High visits our vermiculture facility managed by ate Fhe Manabat, a RiceUp farmer. The students learned about the amazing process of producing bio-fertilizer by using worms and farm waste. Ate Fhe also took some time to teach them and practice some principles of sustainable farming.
